Jean Larson, PhD, MA, HTR, CTRS

Jean Larson, MA, HTR, CTRS, is the program manager for the Center for Therapeutic Horticulture at the University of Minnesota. She earned her master’s degree in therapeutic recreation and outdoor education, and she is pursuing a doctoral degree in the same area. Larson’s research interests include therapeutic horticulture and healing environments—particularly related to therapeutic landscape design. In 2006, Larson authored the book Generations Gardening Together: Sourcebook for Intergenerational Therapeutic Horticulture.
