Joel Slaton is an associate professor, Department of Urologic Surgery and the University of Minnesota Medical School. In addition to his medical degree, Slaton has a master's degree in Urologic Sciences. He is the principal investigator on several NIH grants examining the effectiveness of mushrooms with cancer patients.
