Kate Maher is the coordinator of the healing arts therapy volunteer program at Woodwinds Health Campus, which delivers essential oils, energy-based healing, guided imagery, massage, healing music, and acupressure directly to patients, staff, and volunteers. She is certified in holistic nursing, healing touch, and aromatherapy. As a member of the holistic practice council, a holistic nurse mentor, and a recovery room nurse, she educates and mentors staff on the delivery of healing healthcare in an acute care setting. Maher is currently pursuing a master’s degree in the Master of Arts Holistic Health program at the College of St. Catherine’s; her concentration is herbology.
