We created this website because patients and their families need to know how to grow and heal during and after treatment for cancer and other rare diseases.

Compass showing the way

Designed with the needs and passions of adolescent and young adult survivors in mind, this site aims to inspire through stories of fellow survivors and tips about wellbeing that aren’t always talked about in regular medical visits.   Eventually the site will serve as a place to form community and connect with like-minded people on a similar journey.

The site is a collaborative project, led by integrative nurse clinicians at the University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital, in partnership with the Bakken Center for Spirituality & Healing and the Children’s Cancer Research Fund
