Physical activity is important for your overall health and wellbeing. It helps maintain and improve your physical body but also helps with your mental clarity and emotional regulation. 

Research has shown that physical activity during cancer survivorship improves function of your heart and blood vessels, muscle strength, fatigue, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, happiness, and overall quality of life. 

Depending on where you are at in your health journey, you may be able to withstand different amounts and types of physical activity. Explore different activities that interest you and work with your healthcare team to determine how much physical activity is right for you.
