Dr. Snigdha Sagar (Snigdhasmritha Pusalavidyasagar) is originally from India, where she earned her MBBS (equivalent to MD) degree from Osmania Medical College, Hyderabad, India in 1993. In 1994 she completed an Internship at the Osmania General Hospital before relocating to the United States. Dr. Sagar continued her medical training with externship, internship, and residency training at Howard University Hospital, Washington DC. She went on to clinical practice at the Southern Metro Medical Clinics, Le Sueur, Minnesota and the Queen of Peace Hospital in New Prague, Minnesota. In 2004, Dr. Sagar began fellowship training in Cardiovascular Physiology, followed by clinical fellowship training in Sleep Medicine at the Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota. She joined the Sleep Medicine Faculty at the University of Minnesota in October 2007.

Dr. Sagar is board certified in both Internal Medicine (2000) and Sleep Medicine (2007).
